Alpheus: From Destruction to Power

Alpheus: From Destruction to Power" is a commissioned piece that tells the story of Alpheus, a character who transformed after his home was destroyed. Initially a "sans" character, Alpheus experimented on himself with a modified kaiju serum, evolving into something much more powerful. This artwork focuses on capturing his shift from loss and destruction to newfound strength and resilience.

Through the design, I aimed to convey both the tragic past and the intense power that defines Alpheus post-transformation. The character’s inner conflict, along with the effects of the serum, are portrayed through the details in his form and the dynamic elements of the composition. It was a rewarding challenge to illustrate such a complex and evolving character.
